Workshop Overview

​

An intensive 2 day Mini Fellowship program providing a unique opportunity for all surgical specialist to delve into the intricate art of eyelid surgery and blepharoplasty. Designed to offer a comprehensive learning experience with in-depth in-depth lectures and live surgery assisting on blepharoplasty surgeries as first hand. There will be 2 days of Blepharoplasty surgeries lectures and multiple case scenario discussion. Each participant will be joining and assist first hand to get first hand experience in the detailed steps performed during an aesthetic blepharoplasty during our Blepharoplasty workshop by Dr Rahul Gogoi. Eyelid surgery is complex procedure, which require multiple surgery experience to understand and to perform an Blpeharoplasty To address this specific need, we have designed the course to include 2 days of multiple eyelid surgeries so as to get the best exposure on blepharoplasty over different types of eyelid shapes. It is also one of the few eyelid surgery workshop across the world where scrubbing in the surgery is involved and not merely observing as seen in majority of blepharoplasty workshops. By the end of this Mini Fellowship, attendees will be equipped with sound foundation in specialised aesthetic Blepharoplasty surgery technique and will be poised to enhance their practice in the most demanding surgery in the world of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery

Day 1

08:30 - 09:30  Lecture on Upper Blepharoplasty - Anatomy and advanced surgical techniques

• Anatomy of the Upper eyelid - Difference between the asian and caucasian eyelids

• Clinical examination, case selection and surgical markings

• Various techniques of upper eyelid surgeries

• Additional techniques - Canthoplasty, Fat transfer, Lacrimal gland suspension, ptosis correction

10:00 -   Full Day Assisting in the Operation Room for Advanced Upper Blepharoplasty surgery

Day 2

08:30 - 10:00  Running Breakfast & Lecture on Advanced Aesthetic Rhinoplasty  

• Clinical examination, case selection and surgical markings

• Adjuvant procedures on peri orbital rejuvenation - relevant anatomy

• Additional surgeries - Upper eyebrow lift, Lateral temporal lift

10:00 -   Full Day Assisting in the Operation Room for Advanced Upper Blepharoplasty surgeries
